Join with us as chuckwagon teams from across the country will compete for one of the largest cash prizes in the West!  Authentic chuckwagons from the Old West will present the historic tradition of the chuckwagon and its unique style of cooking.  Authentic equipment, food and campsites help to preserve and demonstrate the wrangler meals of the cattle drives in the late 1800s.

Gates open at 9:00 am so you, your family and friends can meander through the camp and watch this spirited and delectable culinary competition.  You will easily recognize the chef…he’s wearing a cowboy hat at this “restaurant on the range.” 

The Chuckwagon lunch will be served from High Noon until 1:30 pm on Saturday, October 18.  Chuck Wagon tickets will be sold for $15 each (which include event admission and parking) so that you can enjoy the hearty competition meal, complete with chicken fried steak, potatoes, beans, biscuits, dessert and iced tea.  Chuckwagon meals are available by ticket sale only and are in limited supply. Chuck Wagon Cook Off Lunch tickets will be available at the end of August. Other types of food can be purchased at the event.
